Avinash Samudrala is the creative entrepreneur behind the innovative website AskSunday.com. Samudrala has been very successful in his business pursuits because of a penchant for innovation and thinking outside of the box.

Mr. Samudrala graduated from the Goizueta Business School which is located at Emory University. That institution, for those who don’t know, is located in Georgia and considered one of the Southern Ivy League schools. He went on to work at a private equity firm called AEA Investors where he worked as an associate for over two years. In November of 2006, though, a great idea dawned on him. His parents were born in India and he was acutely aware of the work ethic and talents of Indian workers. He discussed the issues of outsourcing and online work with relatives and family members familiar with the situation in India. Eventually, he decided there was no reason that personal assistants couldn’t be offered online, too. Along with his friend, Steve Ludmer, Avinash Samudrala co-founded AskSunday.com, which began offering services in July 2007.
